Over the last few months, my family has been clearing out my grandparents home (as my poppy passed away a few years back and my nanny is now living in a seniors home). Thank you for sharing this. Just so special to see after all those years, I bet. My dad was a videographer and my step-mom spent endless hours converting our Super8′s turned VHS into DVD’s. What a treasure they are for us now. Capturing your life, whether with your own camera, with a professional or ideally, both, is one of the most priceless treasures parents and grandparents can leave behind. Way better than material goods.

Here is another great family I thoroughly enjoyed meeting last year. The age ranges of the kids are a bit older than the typical family with kids portrait. And truthfully, this CAN be an awkward and uncomfortable time for kids to be photographed. One of these guys was not so easily won over, but whenever…
